Welcome to the official documentation for Better.Mac. This guide covers everything from downloading the latest build directly from our GitHub releases to mastering deeply integrated features like Atlas AI and the Smart Clipboard.

Better.Mac is designed to supercharge your workflow by integrating natively into macOS, bringing a visual start menu, quick audio playback, and top-tier artificial intelligence right to your fingertips.

Installation & Setup

Better.Mac is distributed primarily through our official website and GitHub Releases Hub. The latest stable release is Better.Mac 1.0.0.

1. Choose Your Download

Visit our main site or the GitHub repository. You have three primary formats available in the assets section:

  • BetterMac.dmg (40 MB) - Recommended for most users.
  • BetterMac.pkg (4.85 MB) - Standard package installer.
  • BetterMac.app.zip (4.85 MB) - Compressed application file.

2. The Installation Process

If you downloaded the standard .dmg file, double click to mount it. A native installer window will appear exactly like the mockup below.

Simply drag the BetterMac icon onto the Applications folder icon. Once copied, open your Mac's Applications folder and launch Better.Mac.

System Actions

You can scroll back through text, links, and even images you've copied throughout the day, and paste them instantly into your active window. This feature eliminates the need for expensive third-party clipboard managers.
